We've flown this route twice and honestly, it was fantastic. Hardly any waiting going through immigration at Dublin, and just being able to get off the plane in MCO as an internal passenger is heaven!

This is now our preferred route and we fly MAN-DUB-MCO again next summer.

Hope you don’t mind me jumping on but what are Aer Lingus planes like?
Is there seat back entertainment and are food & drinks included or at an extra cost? Also how much are pre bookable seats?
Desperately looking for MAN flights and this route keeps popping up as an option on my searches. Thanks.

I've not used them before but yes there is seat back entertainment. I booked yesterday and it let me pick my seats for free immediately. My main reason for trying them is clearing customs/immigration in Dublin. Food is included in the price but don't know about the quality

We did man-dub-mco in August 17. Our experience of pre clearance was slow, there weren’t many officers on duty and they kept stopping the queue to allow crew through (rightly so). We had over two hours but had to run from pre clearance and we were the last ones to board the flight. At the time I did say never again, but we’re doing this route again in Feb. Although I’ve opted for an earlier flight from man which gives us a much longer layover. They have a lounge after pre clearance so I’m booking that for us.

I would head straight to pre- clearance. Before you go to pre-clearance you have another security screening to go through. I flew Man-Dublin- Washington a few weeks ago and pre-clearance queue was about 50 mins. Security before about 20 mins.
