Probably a bit cooler than usual in the south of France - was about 36/37c today. Effectively we keep all the shutters shut and fans on.

I took DD to the stables at 8am and she rode immediately. It was too hot by 11am for both horses and riders!

Thankfully the temperatures are due to drop on Monday.

Sorry just seen this

45 degrees in the shade at 7pm. It's now 9.45 it's about 36 degrees. It's a little cooler up in the village.

We are on a weather alert and on a fire warning, which is always a little scary.

Local fiesta events today and tomorrow in the village have been either CX OR delayed until the evenings.

It has everso slightly, still unbearable.
Make sure you've got high speed drink as much water as you can and maybe even get some almora rehydration sachets from the chemist?
Where abouts are you staying? X

It's been brilliant down here in Benalmadina

Great breeze and mist on the sea on the mornings and Scorchio ( that's why we're here!) In the afternoon

Midnight here on the balcony. Bottle of Disarrano and an ice machine keeping us going.

Perfecto.
