Thank you. I've had a look but there's no 12 seater vehicles coming up.

The voucher button did confuse me too. Fortunately I didn’t press that!
Did you get your refund yet for your cancelled booking? I’m still waiting on mine.

Hi folks. I booked the cheap pickup option with BA/Avis after seeing this and other threads here, so thanks to whoever figured this out !

One thing I've just realised that I haven't seen discussed here is that the rental desk at these places seems to shut at 1600 which for most folk coming from the UK will mean a day after arrival pickup. Not a showstopper I don't think as I think avis give you 24 hours delay grace but I will call them to confirm.

Anyone else like me and got a bit excited by the cost saving and didn't pickup on this detail?

Not booked with Avis, but got the option with Hertz, noticed they close at 6pm which won’t be enough for my flight time, so booked the following day pickup at 8am.

Have you tried other pick up points? Hard Rock was still silly prices for me so we’re picking up from Renaissance near SeaWorld. Not as convenient as we will be staying at HRH but the difference in the car hire will justify a quick Uber to pick up the car. I’d recommend playing around on the site trying different pick up points as it can make a huge difference.
Also try contacting Andy at DFCH. He got us a pretty good price for 8 day hire but we decided to go for 2x 1 day hire instead as we’ll be mainly onsite and won’t really need a car much. He might be able to help - andy@discountfloridacarhire.co.uk

Even Andy can't get a full size SUV below £1600 for 14th May to 3rd June. Oh for the days when we only paid around £600 for 3 weeks

Have you tried Autoeurope? They were amazing for us!p, but look at any pick up away from the airport.
