Mobile Last minute deals - August

Hi all, my friend has asked me whether last minute deals are available in August and I have no idea! Thought some of you lovely lot might know. She’s pricing up at min for 10 nights, 19th August from Man and the prices are quite expensive! International drive or Disney area. Just wondering if prices may go down or does that not happen? This year btw. X

If it does it’ll be one or two weeks beforehand maybe even days. Everyone has the same idea these days

We went similar time and duration last year and we booked three weeks before going. Only advise is keeping looking at flights and be flexible on airports to open up the chance. When they see a price they like them don’t hang around!

We are thinking about something similar! We would never normally book time off in school hols but have a week off at the end of August and we are thinking about booking a last minute week long trip. So far I am finding it crazy expensive (mostly the flights - hotels are cheap) and we just keep checking flights.

I am not holding my breath though and the advice I have received so far is that last minute deals in summer holidays are nonexistent.

Hope she finds something - would love to know how your friend gets on!

I booked with BA flights and10 nights at Blue Heron Beach Resort 25 Aug.

It started at £650 but I changed the flights and it ended up at £730 PP. That's flying from Newcastle via Dublin. I booked about a month ago.
