Alamo and CC or Debit card

tried to do car check in and it would not work, I was using a debit card at the end, could this be why

I booked a car for my brother using his debit card without any problems a couple of days ago. A fellow Dibber advised he's always used Debit cards because i was unsure.
It took me around 6 attempts to get the booking sorted, the only thing i done different on my final attempt was to use his email address instead of mine and it went through fine

Only ever used a Debit in over 50 rentals. When you say car check in what do you mean and who with.

If you booked with Alamo Brits did you pay with a Debit card and are now trying to do Savetime if so try again with your Alamo rental number.
