Feb or April 2019

Hello,

First timer here that needs to travel in school half terms although happy to take a week before or after off too. Options are Feb (but got presidents day crowds) or April (but got Easter crowds).
Also kids are not great with extreme heat so would prefer it not too hot but still able to use water parks etc.
Any thoughts on when would be best weather wise and crowd wise please?

Thanks

Are you looking to book the free dining offer? If so there are blackout dates over Easter which you will need to be aware of with booking. I think the crowds should be a lot less in Feb but I'm sure someone who has visited at either time can offer more insight.

Having been during April in 2015, 2016 & this year, as well as going back again at the same time next year I can recommend April! The weather is great, very little rain, hot but not too hot, low humidity. In Feb there is a greater chance they’ll close the water parks if they believe it’s too cold! It will be busier in April but with good planning we always manage to get everything done.

I believe the cut off date for free dining is 7th April so if you check in on or before that date you’ll qualify.

We had the same decision and have gone for April. Flying out on the 4th so taking our eldest out of school for just over a week. It was an extra £1000 to fly out on the 7th.

Make sure you are checking in by the 7th to get Disney Dining. Best deal we got was with My Magic Holiday who offered us the same package as Thomas Cook but beat it by £600

were going in februsary. did it in 2016 too. our first week all the waterparks were closed because it was only 12 degrees. second week was hot, 28 degrees.
i think it will be a fair bit qquieter in feb than easter time though.
