Hi all!
It will be our first visit in october, just wondered where the best place to stand is to view HEA and what time to arrive before fireworks begin. We are traveling with a 6 & 4 year old. To be honest our 6 year old is not too keen on fireworks 🙈 but we would really like to attempt to watch! Would anyone recommend the dessert party? |

I haven’t done it yet but after seeing Niki’s photos (some here) we’re hoping to do the plaza view dessert party next year. There’s a lot of projections on the castle now so the best place to see it is from the front of the castle in Mainstreet/the hub. It gets quite busy so for our first time seeing it (we missed it starting by 1 day last year!) I think the party will be more relaxed.

Thank you! And thanks for forwarding the pics! It looks great! Only thing that’s putting me off booking is the fact that due to MNSSHP in October, our dates for HEA are restricted. The date that we would be looking to book would be two days before we are due to come home so if they get cancelled due to weather we would be missing out and paying lots for desserts 😂 But guess that’s just the risk you have to take. It looks so much more relaxed! And easier to entertain small children at the dessert party than waiting around trying to get a good spot on Main Street.

you could try going up the steps of main street station and waiting it out up there for a good spot.
or if you like the dessert party I can recommend the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise its pretty much the same as the dessert party, but you get a few free gifts and there's photopass on there too. We did this for wishes in between MNSSHP

I would say, first time you see it, it’s worth making the effort to see it from Main Street area, just with the projections been so important. However once you’ve seen it from there you HAVE to watch from round by Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. They set some fireworks off from fantasy land and some from way back in the park, so from 7DMT you’re right between them, it’s fun!
