Dropping off at Disney Parks
We are a group of 7 and on a couple of days some of our party are wanting to do different things. Since there is only one driver this means dropping off one group of people at a disney park.
My question is - do you have to pay a full days parking if you are just dropping people off at the gate? Is there a way round having to do this, as it seems an awful lot to pay just to drop off at the entrance for literally less than a minute stop time. |

It's extremely easy and free.
Our daughter and granddaughter joined us for a week in March and we dropped them off at all the WDW parks (and collected them later ) As I recall try to keep right at the entrance plazas and tell the attendant that you are dropping off. Then follow the blue line all the way to the well signposted drop off area. Do the same when collecting. Mick

Thanks, Mick, that's great news and seems pretty straightforward!

Pleasure. From my 71 year old memory for collection :-
At MK you can park up in proper bays near a chain link fence and you can see the monorail at the TTC about 100 yards away so no pressure in getting there a bit early. At AK you drop off and collect kerbside not far from where the little trolleys drop off so I'm not sure that you can park up for long. Similar at EPCOT. We were too early and a guy told us to drive a 100 yards or so and park in the car phone lot. We weren't enabled for phone calls so we drove back again 10 minutes later and they were there. At HS we agreed that they would get the boat back to Boardwalk and we met them at the Bakery. Mick
