I can't answer re linking it, but I'm sure a Dibber who knows about MDE can answer that.

Memory Maker is the ride photos and videos and Photo Pass Photographer photos that will be taken whilst at Disney.

The memory maker links automatically. Simply link your tickets to MDE and then once your first photo is taken and your band/ticket is scanned, the memory maker activates automatically.

Memory maker allows you to download all your park photos taken on rides or by photographers for free. Simply approach the photographers in the parks (you'll know who they are), they will take a few photos and possibly a few magic shots, then scan your band or ticket and these will upload to your MDE account.

On rides such a 7 dwarfs and Tower of Terror you also get a ride video as well as a picture. We didn't need to scan our band/ticket on 7 dwarfs, the uploading of the video and pictures happened automatically.

You can also get the pictures when you do the character meets. They take some really nice natural shots of you meeting them and then some posed ones too.

We got 150 pictures altogether from a week stay with the two of us. We downloaded these for free when we got back to our computer (they expire 45 days after they've been taken if not downloaded).

When I added my tickets with Memory Maker it just appeared. I can't advise about linking it but phone Disney if you worried. If you google it you can get a freephone number to call from the uk. Loved Memory maker its just awesome especially the Magic Shots.

You don't link Memory Maker separately. It comes as part of the Ultimate tickets. If you have linked your tickets then the Memory Maker part of that will also be automatically linked - there's nothing more you need to do.

When you have some photos taken, they will appear in the photopass section (not immediately - give it a day or so) and you'll be able to view them and download them.

See the following for more info about Memory Maker:
