Flying Club VH Vouchers/WL Standard Room

Hi all,

Just a couple of queries to see if anyone knows, while I await to hear back from VA.

I've read you can convert your miles to vouchers for VH (I know the rate isn't great, but hey I can't afford to fly all the time to rack up any useful amount of miles!), do they let you use this in addition to the 7% discount or is it one or the other?

Secondly, what have you experienced with WL standard rooms, are they in the main building? Any major deal breakers?

You can earn flying club miles in other ways, not just through flying. You can apply for a variety of credit cards like Amex which can give you flying miles, or even the Virgin Atlantic own credit card. Plus Virgin having a shopping portal that you can go through and earn points when you shop online. The conversion from VA miles to VH holidays vouchers is very poor, like 100k miles for £50 voucher! Not a good deal at all.
