It was rubbish. We hadn't been on it before and rope dropped for it. The way people dragged their children to the front of the queue and done that silly fast walk to try and be first, we thought this must be some amazing ride! Nope it was awful. Probably wont even bother with the new version to be honest. I get that it is a family ride but and I wasn't expecting it to be thrilling exactly but it just bored the life out of me.
You wont like flight of passage then. Was my first time on Soarin I loved it and was the perfect introduction to FOP which is more exciting soarin.

But I will definitely try FoP though I know they have been compared but my sister who has the same opinion as me to Soarin (and she has rode the new one), loved FoP and said it was worth queuing for. I actually really enjoyed Avatar the movie so even though it may be similar it is something I really want to try The old Soarin for me was just a let down after reading how much love it got on here and seeing the rush of people to get to it, then to see a tired looking screen and crappy phasing between scenes, maybe I should give the new one a try to see if my opinion changes but it would probably only be if there was no queue.

Yeah there are rides which aren't worth the queue which then sours the experience. We got on 7 dwarfs mine train but if I had to queue the standby time for it we would of been really disappointed. As we didnt we really enjoyed it but agreed it wouldn't be worth the wait.

More terrific responses. So much detail and explanations make for a great read.

7DMT was a huge disappointment for me, and I'm now reading from others who feel the same. I definitely wouldn't call for its removal though

Hulk is getting a little abuse. I don't like it myself. Bashes my head around too much, even in the front. Having rode it many times each and every time I go I vowed last year never to ride it again. I love the launch but the rest doesn't justify my head being smashed

Love the comment about how Universal is NOT up to scratch when compared to Disney. I think that comment about HS without many attractions still having a better feel than Universal is spot on.

Potter was such a mind blow in terms of theme when it first came out, but could do with some actors or something to up the immersive nature of the place. I think Disney are going for this for SW?!?

I’m really looking forward to Star Wars opening and combining it with the hotel. From the little we know it sounds like the hotel will be out of the world (and pricy I see it being compared to Disney cruise). There seems to be hints of a lot of character interaction and I don’t seem them skimping on the money as Hollywood studios will be the Star Wars park

I will be staying onsite for SW that's for sure. Gotta get those FPs

Not sure about the hotel. Sounds great, but the expense might be just a little too much.

The new up bird show...we saw it last week. Loads of people left...It reminded me of a bird show I saw at a theme park in the 90s...making a parrot sing etc. We hated it. It was also very random and nothing to do with up at all... but they just dragged the dog and boy characters out to fill time

Disney have obviously had problems as we received a feedback form asking our opinions.

That's a real shame. I enjoyed the previous show.
