Flydrive or book independantly
Hi Dibbers
We are a party of first timers booked in a Dibb villa for May 2019 for around 18 days. When we travel we will be a party of 4 Adults a 4yr old and an 8mth old. Just wondering whether we would be better booking a fly drive with eg Virgin or booking flights and car hire separately. Any advice/recommendations greatly appreciated Thanks |

For the most part Virgin fly drives are more expensive as you need to add on extra car insurance that meets minimum US requirements. When your dates are ready have a look through British Airways and choose the Flight plus Car option. All levels of insurance are included and quite often the price is no more expensive and sometimes cheaper than choosing flight only. You can also just pay a deposit

Hi thanks for that. My only concern would be flying with BA as not flown with them before so don't know anything about they're planes/service
Would you recommend BA flights |

I have flown with BA many times, both long and short haul. The service has ranged from fantastic to mediocre but the way I see it, the flight is a means to an end and only a very small part of the holiday so if the price is right then I’ll fly with whoever 😃
