Here just now - fuel question

Hi got a Ford Escape and needing to put some fuel in can I just double check is it just the regular fuel I put in thanks

I'm sure it will say somewhere - inside the fuel cap cover or on your paperwork?

is gas gas ?

like do they not have desil and petrol? isit all near enough the same thing ie you cant put in wrong fuel ?

They do have diesel but not as common for passenger cars as in the UK. Very unlikey for a hire car to have diesel, most American tourists wouldn't even think to check. I have been told the diesel nozzle won't even fit in a US gas(petrol) tank anyway.

I remember a few years back I asked the same question when I was at the garage the reply I had was , Do you drive a truck mam if u don't then it's petrol,

The colour of the nozzles is the other way round than ours. Ie green is diesel and black is petrol

Just like here, a diesel nozzle won't fit a petrol tank.

Also the rental company should have explained or given you a pamphlet with essential info on?
