I’ve never seen good last minute prices from Glasgow however I probably wouldn’t look a few days out. Glasgow doesn’t seem to get the reductions further out like other airports do.

I think I saw a Gla bargain once but it was absolutely last minute. Most as you say are Newcastle or Manchester. Like you, not in a position sadly to leave it that late.

And definitely not prepared to take the chance on it! A big part of my holiday is spending a year planning 😂.

They’ll fluctuate and I’ve never seen Edinburgh in a sale. Ultimately you’re going to have to just decide what’s a good price and book without looking back.

Yep, i have a budget in mind and if I see decent flights with sensible connection, departure and arrival times within that, i will book it. An example would be United from Edi via Newark - 9.40, 3hr connection and in to Orlando 6.30pm. Come home 4pm, 2 hr connection and 8am in to Edinburgh. Cat collected and home for lunch. Virgin/Delta have a similar schedule via Atlanta - all i need is a price within budget. Manchester direct not ruled out but I would want £200pp saving on Edi prices to justify that.
