Hello again fellow Dibbers 👋

Hot on the heels of our Huxley: Pigs In The City NYC report, I’m back with another trippie…

A mini post-trip / pre-trippie…

This one was an Ems & Rich only holiday - 5 nights in Salou, staying onsite at PortAventura’s Gold River hotel…

Our Hotel Gold River stay came with unlimited access to PortAventura Park (open 10:30am to 6pm during our stay), plus one visit to Ferrari Land (open 5pm-10pm)…

This was our 4th trip to Salou. It had been 5 years since our last visit in July 2019 and we were looking forward to getting on Shambhalla to see if it held us as one of our favourite coasters in the world…

It was Halloween Season - We aren’t particularly bothered about scare mazes, but we do enjoy the theming, extra characters and the shows - which the resort does really well…

We also added breakfast for each day to our booking (which made it £629 total for the 5 nights, so a good deal).

We flew with Ryan Air, from Birmingham to Reus. As usual, we had the free small cabin bags and paid for 1 x 20kg case each way. We paid to select our seats, and also added Security Fast Track at Birmingham as they’ve been doing a lot of work there this year and the queues are known to get long (£319).

As usual, we booked airport parking through Holiday Extras, opting for the convenience of Carpark 1 (£134)

Summary, Final Thoughts & Future Plans

I usually aim to post a day each weekend, however, life for the Huxwolds is quite busy at the moment, which means this won’t always be possible, but if I can get this finished before Christmas I’ll be happy.
