The BA 207 had an engine issue after take off so had to circle to dump fuel and return to Heathrow hence the return flight BA206 was cancelled. I would expect the airport check in to be busier than normal as the rebooked passengers may have questions about their flight so it may take a little extra time. Check in opens at around 3 hours prior to departure at Miami and I'm not sure what problem you have with your seats "being messed up etc" but you may be able to sort that out at the desk this afternoon.
Because of yesterdays cancellation the BA 206 today looks very, very busy and may well be full by departure time. Bear in mind the figures quoted below are subject to change and the flight is under airport control which is why there are so many blocked seats BA 206 - scheduled to be operated by an A380 4 class cabin aircraft Lower Deck First - 2 seats unoccupied Club - 3 single seats blocked WT - Forward cabin - 1 single seat unoccupied with 28 blocked Rear cabin - 16 blocked Upper Deck Club Forward cabin - 1 seat unoccupied with 1 blocked Rear cabin - 1 seat unoccupied with 2 singles blocked WTP - 1 single seat unoccupied with 9 single seats blocked WT Forward cabin - 11 blocked Rear cabin - 11 blocked BA are not selling any fares for the flight. The outbound BA 207 has already left the gate and hopefully on its way. I very recently returned on the BA 206, it left and arrived on time but the only thing I don't like is the fact that Miami airport can't really cope with the A380 and the departure gate area which is usually E24/25 is cramped, crowded and no matter how the staff try boarding always seems to be a zoo. A good tip is to use the toilet facilities on the level where you get off the train shuttle before going down the escalator to the departure gates. |

Brilliant ! Thanks Stanley - we are getting there early and seeing if they are looking for volunteers to stand down 🤞🏼
We had two seats booked ( disabled ) since May - now they have split us up.

No volunteers requested and absolutely no reason why they stole my disabled seat from me. The bloke in it was single, given it yesterday and fit as a fiddle. Check in had no idea either

VS 4069 - codeshare service operated by Delta DL22 using an A330-900 aircraft
Bus - Full PE - Full Economy Comfort Plus - Full Economy - Full At this stage neither DL or VS are selling any fares for this flight and it is very unusual to see a completely full flight at this point. I would check Manage My Booking for your PNR to see if seats are allocated. Edited to add - I quickly checked the VS 92 which is the earlier flight to the above and that is full in UC/PE and only 14 unoccupied seats in Eco and VS only selling 1 Eco fare so very busy too. The crew said it was full last week (mco to lhr) but it was quiet coming out.
Think I need to pay for a seat so I don't get the middle middle!

IAD - DUB
EI 118 - scheduled to be operated by an A321neo aircraft Bus - 5 seats unoccupied Eco - 41 standard seats unoccupied At this stage EI are selling no Bus/Eco fares on the EI118 but there are 41 seats in the free seating area available for choice. I would suggest you phone EI and ask if they can allocate your seats for you should your ticket type allow (Saver Fare exclude free seat choice). There other flight that day EI 116 shows similar availability in Eco but only 2 unoccupied seats in Bus. |
