We did Paris during October half term, for a day trip. We loved it. Managed to see an awful lot in one day, thanks to the Metro

We also did a day trip to DLP on the same trip, just to "scratch that Disney itch" - My little man (6) managed a 12 hour day around both parks without complaining once. That trusty Disney magic...

Elsewhere in Europe, we did Gothenburg in Sweden in August & that was lush. Would definitely return there !

We love our European and UK holidays. If you wanted to try a new city in Italy other than Rome then Florence is lovely and easy to get around on foot and you can get into the city by train from the airport. Venice is also a really nice Italian city to get around easily. Hope you and Maria enjoy your travels 😀
