Floridatix price match
Hi everyone
I am wondering if anybody have had the same response as myself regarding Floridatix price matching Orlando Attractions as I had found the tickets for the parks we have booked over £100 cheaper. Phoned Floridatix and they said because Orlando Attractions are an American company they would be unable to price match them, seems very strange to me. Any advise or help would be great 😄 |

Nothing strange there.. USA prices are typically for US Residents... Its difficult for UK companies to match that..

Why are you asking just to price match? I’d give my business to the company offering the best prices at the start rather than someone who only matches others when pushed.

We were the same, booked FloridaTix before realising that OAT was £115 cheaper for 4 Disney tickets for next Aug. After meeting all their Price Match Promise stipulations, they pretended not to have received my Price Match request with 48hrs of booking, then said they wouldn't price match OAT, but would Disney (? ), but that it would cost us £80 (which made it more than FloridaTix's price), or £80 to cancel. Messenger conversation back and forth, and only fully refunded once I mentioned I'd share on It's Orlando Time / social media. Terrible company, terrible ethics, terrible service. Would never go near again. (and you don't get your tickets until 62 days before travel, OAT / Disney immediately).
Never once mentioned that they wouldn't price match OAT because they were American? Are they, as they're based in Farnborough, Hants? Edited at 10:41 AM. |

^This.
Don't give your money to the company that is advertising tickets at a higher price. They are clearly able to sell those tickets at a lower price but simply want to take more money from people who don't check around. Instead, give your money to the ticket company that is selling it's tickets at it's lowest price.

Your first sentence is correct, your second isn't (not completely). OrlandoAttractions.com (the website) is run by two companies. OrlandoAttractions itself is not a company, just a website name. As it says on their website on their "About" page:
Attraction tickets and tours sold on OrlandoAttractions.com are supplied by NAR UK Ltd in the UK and Travel House of America for the rest of the World. So any UK tickets bought on the OA website are supplied by NAR UK Limited, a UK company. FloridaTix are wrong.

I like how they inflate the price of their tickets so they can offer you a discount (which basically brings it down to the price of other sites) and then laude how much money you're saving.
It's all over that IT's Orlando page with the admins pushing folk to use them as well so they get their bit of commission rather than directing people to cheaper alternatives. I've had a few posts removed because i've suggested cheaper places. |
