Been getting through all the Oscar Best Picture nominations, watched American Fiction. Enjoyed it, original storyline, good cast and witty dialogue.

I remember loving this on my Betamax player when I was a teen. Think it was a bit like Scanners.

Where did you stream it? Would be good to revisit.

This one's been out for a few years but it's an absolute cracker - Nobody.

Give it a go, you won't regret it.

Yes it is like scanners. I streamed it on Amazon prime I had a free gift voucher I had to use up it was £3,50
To be fair I wouldn't pay that out of pocket for any film cause I'm tight 😁
But I did enjoy it

Yep. Shame as I liked the other insidious films.

We watched cocaine bear last night - ridiculous ( even though it’s based on a true story seemingly) but entertaining.

‘The Creator’ is on Disney+, thought it was excellent. The premise is AI starts to take over the World and allegedly nukes LA but all is not what it seems and it has messages of misunderstanding other cultures and seeing them as a threat.
I’ve been wanting to see this for a while not only due to the story which looks good, but it was shot on the same cameras that I own, I find it incredible that Joe bloggs can buy a camera for a reasonable price that is good enough to film a Hollywood big budget movie- albeit using cinema lenses, huge crews, special effects, sets and lighting.

I am waiting for the Roadhouse remake - coming on Amazon shortly- looks great and Connor McGregor basically plays himself in it, and it’s set in Florida.

Well he had to get that kitty bracelet I loved it being a 'send up' of so many far fetched films like Taken. Saw it at the pictures when it came out and again last week on Film 4.

Cocaine Bear... thought it was bloody hilarious and if you take it for what it is - a stupid idiotic film - you will enjoy it!
