Ponderosa on 192
We used to go here a lot for breakfast, I believe one of them has closed now.

Has anyone been lately?

I believe the one on the 192 is the only one open now . Were doing our first breakfast there next month when we go . Tradition since 96 . We much prefer now to do Cracker Barrel,Bob Evens, Perkins and IHOP

Ponderosa is good value, competes with Golden Corral as a decent budget option. They do more than just breakfast.

It was quite expensive too I thought. After watching the video, I don’t think we will be going

I didn't realise Ponderosa was still open, haven't been since late 90s. We went to the Golden Corral on 192 last Thursday, my son's choice after having his GCSE results. Thought it was awful, bland tasteless food, selection wasn't what it used to be, drinks were dreadful, no taste at all just coloured carbonated water. We found it expensive too, nearly $90 for 4 us. It's never been the best quality but kids always loved it, we won't be rushing back.
