This is my guilty lunchtime secret, watched it pretty much from day 1 with Chris Timothy. Writing never been up to much, but it was a wind down 30 mins with my lunch when I got in from work. However since they bought in Nina & son it is a total joke😡 part of me wants to stop but another keeps hoping she will leave. Her manner and delivery are so false/awful imo, I don’t recognise the actress from anywhere else, so no idea if she is bad or if been told to act this way?

I agree! She played Chesney and Fizz’s mum in Corrie some years ago and i quite liked her in that (her not the character) but in Doctors she’s awful!
And i’m still not over Karen going 🥺

Love doctors but dislike the character of Nina, she did take a good part as Cilla in corrie but that’s a good few years ago…

I just can't get Cilla from Corrie out of my mind every time I see her! No idea what her " normal" voice sounds like, but, the posh one just sounds dreadfully false to me.

I'm going through a phase of not enjoying Doctors at the moment, too many characters leaving.

Bring back Mrs Tembe😁

Think they have ruined Doctors. No Karen, no Valerie, Daniel leaving & I think Bear is going too.
Can’t stand the new receptionist (far too bossy) and Nina is a no no.
Think Rhuma may be back soon but even that won’t save the show.

Ooh, I'm glad I found this thread! Doctors has been our guilty secret since lockdown, and we really like it. But Nina is just awful! We both really dislike both her character and her storylines. Her son's not too bad, but isn't really a very good actor, he looks uncomfortable a lot of the time. I also LOATHE the way the new receptionist talks, she spends so much time trying to fake the Birmingham accent that her acting suffers, in my opinion. And like others, I'm still not over Karen - I could handle Valerie going, but too many of the more established characters seem to be leaving in a short space of time. Sorry didn't mean to moan!
