We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Stratford, it was about a 5-10 minute walk, and included breakfast and onsite parking.

Fun story, on the way back, we were stopped by a street preacher who tried to tell Chris that if he prayed hard enough, his leg would grow back. I don't miss living in London!

Do people stand or sit down or is it personal preference.
I want to go next year but can’t imagine being sat down during some of the songs and my friend just loves to dance.

I also wondered this it seems like seating when I go to book but I know as soon as they start I'll be up. I don't think they have a standing area as they want to sell food.

There was a massive floor standing area called the "dance floor" on the seating plans. We were seated as we were in the accessible area, and I can't swear what folk in the seats behind us were doing!

We did standing on the dance floor. Still had a great view even though I'm only 5ft 2. The show is about 90 minutes so not too long to be stood/dancing. Just wear comfy shoes

Went to this last weekend. Stayed in the Hilton Canopy (great new hotel BTW) near Aldgate. Took about 20 mins to get there.
I had no interest in seeing it and was reluctantly dragged along.
However, it is worth seeing at the right price, it is incredibly impressive what they have done.
There’s no bad seat and somehow Mrs YT scores tickets for £27 near the back at the side but view was great, it seats 3000 so isn’t gigantic and all seats have a good unobstructed view.
Whilst I enjoyed seeing it from a tech perspective and spectacle, I had an uneasy feeling they are raking in £2m a week from this and people are cheering and clapping a screen, where ABBA are sat at home raking in the dough for zero effort. Good on them I suppose but I don’t like it.
Many of the tickets are over £100 for some reason, no chance would have paid that.
But as stated if you are an ABBA fan it’s impressive what Industrial Light and Magic did (albeit there’s definitely an uncanny valley look to the faces) and the designers of the thing are absolute genius.
