Hi. We are going for the last 2 weeks in August. Only booked Disney hotel so far. I'm planning on booking flights pretty soon after they are released and Universal hotel and tickets around black Friday. We're flying from Manchester so Norse aren't much use for us. It's our first time to Disney (I'm not counting the time I went when I was a kid) so I'm scouring the Dibb for all the tips.

I’m flying from Manchester myself or I would have snapped up the Norse flights, I’m just eagerly waiting for the flights to come out for my dates and hoping the price isn’t to steep, I have seen a few people mention they’re waiting to get universal tickets around Black Friday, do they normal have good deals on around that time?

I'm just copying what other people have said! I'm not sure if Epic will have an impact though. I'm going to have a look see if I can find if anyone has already asked that, and if not I'll ask myself.

We have booked for next August too. We’re going for 24 nights, staying at a villa in Windsor hills for first 5 nights, then Universal Royal Pacific for 2 nights at Port Orleans Riverside for 17 nights with the free dining plan. I’m tempted with Norse flights but going to hold out for BA as I have a companion voucher that
I’m hoping to use.

I have heard very good things about Windsor hills, was that expensive for the five nights? And what is BA like for prices? Are they competitive? I have only flown with virgin before

Yes I’ve heard Windsor Hills is nice too. We’re staying at a villa called Magic Moments Manor and paid £1850 for 5 nights. I have seen some cheaper options but really liked this one when I saw it on YouTube. We haven’t flown with BA before in August but hoping the prices won’t be too bad. We went with Virgin last year and paid £3200 but that was to Miami.

What flight prices do people typically pay per person flying back to the U.K. before the end of August?

It’s been around £900 pp with BA this August… so pretty steep!

The cheapest flight prices I have seen for us (2 adults and 1 child) was from Gatwick with Norse for £2000 and that was after I had reserved seats there and back, but Gatwick is a little far for us unfortunately

We have booked the same villa we stayed in last August for next August. We are there for 21 days but will extend it for a month, so may spend the whole of August once we know how the flights prices will work.
