Has anybody actually booked for summer need year?
The july return August prices are like £1800 today 😳 I want late August but cannot justify this, they do seem cheaper returning earlier in the week.

I was originally looking to book towards end of August as historically I have always found the prices cheaper but saw that end of July pricing was cheaper this time round, so booked a cheeky 8 night break 29th July.

end of August nearly always drops and is generally lower than the end of July, this is a number of reasons, monsoon season and American schools returning.
at current prices are going to show cheaper for earlier in the month generally we'll see prices drop for the end of the month as other airlines release tickets. |

I am seriously hoping that the prices will drop off a little in the next couple of days as the early September dates for return arrive. I just did a dummy run for 16-30/8/25 and it was asking £1.5k pp for flight+ car on BA.
