Stand out memory is when I was age 7, it was my birthday, and in the boiling hot May sun I was so tired waiting for the parade! One of the people on main street that had a microphone saw I was a bit upset and came over to see me, I told them I was so hot and tired and that it was my birthday. They then got the whole of Main Street to sing me happy birthday 🥰 I felt better after that!

September 2008. Me & my then girlfriend had been together 3 years. We loved theme parks but had heard that florida was soooooo much better than the UK, so we planned a 2 week holiday to Orlando to visit universal & Disney.
We had been fans of disney as kids but come on! We're 30 years old! Our first day was to be spent at magic kingdom. We took the boat transfer & saw the park, space mountain & castle slower emerging & getting closer... This strange flutter in our bellies begins... Through the gates & onto main street usa... The gorgeous smells hit you... You see the street full of smiling people, but your eyes are pulled straight down the road & there it is... THE CASTLE! All of a sudden the butterflies are going wild! We have Cheshire cat grins on our faces & tears in our eyes! We are that 5 year old Disney loving kid again! We feel the magic through us. We fell in love so much with the magic that in October 2009 we bacause husband & wife at cypress Grove, Orlando, with 9 very special members of family.

Walking by the beach area of the Contemporary at night we came across Peter Pan waiting for the pirate cruise to dock - he was the surprise character at the end -. My kids were in awe , tbh so were we, he chatted to us for ages just us and him until the boat docked. I’ll never forget it

One of our favourite memories was when our, then teeny, daughter went to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at park opening. Her fairy godmother in training came to meet her and they walked through the near empty Fantasyland together having the sweetest chat. It was like she had stepped into the magic and we were in tears seeing the wonder on her little face 🥰

I have so many fantastic memories from Disney World! Too many to mention, but it's the little things that stand out.
A simple act of kindness from a cast member on our first visit. We had just bought our daughter an ice cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlour and as we were walking out someone knocked into her and she dropped the ice cream. As we were dealing with it, a cast member came up to us, took us to the front of the queue and replaced her ice cream, free of charge, and gave her an extra scoop. Always remember the time Eyeore got a little "over friendly" with me in Epcot. That's made for a very strange memory!

In 2021 we were so excited to hear about the Magic at Sea cruises and excitedly booked to be on the first one from Liverpool. As we checked in we were asked if we wanted to be family of the day so we were the first family back on DCL since 2020. We were taken in a taxi to the port and boarded alone, being welcomed by the Captain, Mickey and Minnie and all the crew. It was the most amazing and emotional welcome back to Disney after not being able to travel for so long. We felt so grateful and happy to be back in the amazing Disney bubble...

We have been to WDW many times, but our favourite memory is from DLP. My mother -in -law always loved to hear about our adventures and looked at our photo's. Before her 90th birthday we asked her how she would like to celebrate - she wanted to go and see Goofy in Disney. We went to DLP, and she was treated like a queen. We had booked a character breakfast and she was so tearful when meeting mickey they made a huge fuss with her. Goofy wasn't there for some reason, so they told us to go into the park to meet him. She was a wheelchair user so when we waited to meet him, he came out of the queue and pushed her around the park. She was laughing and smiling so much, all the cast members were amazing with her. She lived until almost 100. One of her treasured possessions was the picture of her and goofy. Such a sweet and emotional memory for her and us.

My favourite moment is the photo I have in my signature. In the Main Street Confectionary, my twins were chosen as ‘chefs of the day’. A trolley was rolled out and they were given apples to decorate with chef hats and aprons. The cast members at Disney are fantastic.

One of my favourite memories has to be when we were watching the Magic Kingdom parade in Main Street. My youngest son was 5 years old. His favourite Disney Characters, at the time, were Peter Pan and his whole bedroom was Peter Pan themed.
Smee clearly saw Josh’s excited and wondrous face that one of his favourite characters was standing right in front of him. Smee held his hand and had a dance with him in the parade. When people say to you, I’m not taking my children until they are older so that they can remember it …. really do miss out on the most magical memories when your children are young - their faces alight with pure disbelieve and Disney delivers ‘Dreams do come true”.
