Right I’ve just gone through and booking doesn’t seem to require you to pay in any address. It only wants names and then it’s straight through to payment options.

If you were worried about UT thinking you weren’t from the US you could use a VPN I suppose but at the moment I can’t see anything on the site stopping people outside the US from getting the discounted ticked except that message in bold which sort of reminds me of the “UK folk can’t book not so scary online” type stuff

I never went that far so thanks for checking. My only fear is that when the tickets come through it states it on the ticket and when you show your passport at discovery cove they don’t allow you in

Ok I haven't done it as I ended up with an other option but if you check back to Universal buy 3 get 2 free, I raised this question as I had the standard answer from UT of No, even though I would be paying with a US Bank account. But there were others that had bought & used without an issue, TBH I'm not sure the parks care & no idea why it makes a difference to UT & a passport doesn't confirm where you stay just where your passport was issued IYKWIM

Did the agent say why? It makes no sense and I just wonder if the agent simply repeated what she aw on the site the same as us, it's not uncommon for CS agents to not be fully aware/trained in every aspect of the business in which they work.

Edit: I have now phoned them and received the same "it's only available to US residents" response. When pushed the agent said his source for the information was the wording on the website alone! In the end he agreed to escalate my query to product support to see if it is an error and advised that if it is the wording will be removed in the next 24-48 hours so let's see...

have and previously had bought and used tickets bought with undercover tourist with no issues and never seen us residents only, can only think its been added recently and if so I wouldnt risk it personally, If its like disney us residents only deals that they sell then could be an issue.

Oh ≈≈≈≈≈≈ I bought these yesterday and didn’t notice that at all. I’ll wait and see if they come back to you before cancelling. Says I can get 95% refund but I’ll ask for a full refund as I don’t think that exclusion was particularly visible and not in the main t&cs. Annoying!

Just looked at my e-ticket from yesterday and nothing on there states US RESIDENT, so I am wondering if it’s just undercover tourist trying it on!

Also just looked on discovery cove website for the exact same offer and no mention on there of it being for US residents only, so I’m pretty confident they will be valid. (Fingers crossed anyway!)
