BA Custom Trip

Hi Dibbers.
Grateful for some advice on booking BA flights using the Custom Trip function in order to book flights to MCO with deposit only. Is it possible to book economy flights on outbound leg and prem economy on return flight, when attempting to book it appears that you can only book one or the other for both legs?

Not possible, contact BA holidays and they will book for you

Try using the flight only search first to select the flights that you want and then you should get the option to search for flight and hotel, or flight and car hire. Follow that through and it should give take you to the BA package site so you can pay a deposit. It's a bit fiddley but usually works.

Thanks for the reply munmun. That's a shame, I was hoping to book flights early on release day as I expect prices will rise with demand as the day progresses

Op I'm going to state the obvious but only because you don't mention it, it's not "custom trip" that get's you deposit only it's adding something to make it a package that does- so in our case a weeks car hire. As far as PE,we thought the upgrade cost was too much, it was near enough £450 each/each way

I've just done a dummy booking at it works fine for me.

From memory, if when you select your dates in the flight search you choose economy., it gives you the option on each leg to upgrade the cabin. That way you can choose economy on the outbound and PE on the return.
