This is tough!

Fraiser (original run) - very few subpar episodes, some lines I still quote, very funny and at times sweet

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - so many metaphors for battling demons in real life, and how we have the power. I needed that as a teen, and I need it still now.

The X-Files (original run) - the first show I ever became obsessed with

Dinnerladies - Victoria Wood can do no wrong! Another show I quote so much!

Jonathan Creek - clever, funny, original at the time.

And a couple of honourable mentions (as all those are over 20 years old!)

Derry Girls - funny, relatable (as a 90s teen) and very moving at times

Sex Education - Gillian Anderson, that is all! Love the acceptance this show has for so many people.

The Traitors - a study of how people people. Love the psychology of the show.

Boston Legal - One of my favourite shows, watched it through so many times, James Spader is amazing and so many great guest actors on it!

24 - Was obsessed with this when it first came out on TV and then binge watched it again when it cam out on DVD, will never be another show like it!

Frasier - One of the best sitcoms ever, so smart and funny at the same time and taught me so much about music and culture.

Red Dwarf - Similar to Frasier, it was a much smarter sitcom than would have been expected from the premise, still going today and the Cat is still my favourite.

Bosch - One of the first big shows that started on streaming and was so well written, shot and performed by everyone involved, enjoying Lincoln Lawyer as well!
