Chase Bank

Just had a random message on the app. We are using this account for a raffle so people are paying in £2 or whatever, Chase have messaged asking me to confirm a persons name address and DOB in order for them to release a payment of £10 i to my account.

This sounds dodgy and I am a bit confused. Anyone had similar?

Sounds very dodgy. I'd ignore it completely.

To get that info you must know the person. Give them a call and ask them if they've paid £10.

My first thought would be to call Chase to see if it is legitimate and if it isnt ask them for advice on what action you should take.

I’ve always found Chase customer service to be very quick and efficient so I’d check with them first just to be sure it’s legitimate

I’m with Chase and have also had the email today about the 159 phone number for fraud.

I'd never heard of 159. Worth knowing.
