Anyone flew to Orlando with IA?
My dates are showing for next October, Dublin to Reykjavik (2 hour stopover) then on to MCO. The price is good for 2 adults & 1 17 year old. £1515.60 includes check in bag & seat selection. So tempted! The Aer Lingus direct service isn’t available for my dates yet but it’ll be a lot more expensive. Other options are AA, United etc but my dates aren’t available yet.

Ah great to hear! Do you think that’s an ok price? Haven’t been since 2017 so out of the loop lol

I looked at them for my dates from Glasgow. Price was not so competitive - >£830pp Economy Standard and the connection times were 1 hr on way out and 35 mins coming back. Had various Dibbers look to reassure me that planes were held where timings might be at risk of being missed but we have buses where I live that spend longer at their stops! It's a bit too short a time for me when the price isn't looking like it's a bargain either.
For your route, £500pp not to be sniffed at. |

Yeah I’ll be mad not to! 2hours is plenty of time too, I’m more afraid of delays & missing the connection but it’s a risk we take by going indirect!

We flew to Boston via Iceland. Journey was fine, but didn't love the airport in terms of facilities.

Yeah I’ve been before to Reykjavik & remember the airport well! 2 hours will be a long time especially coming home! But I’m more concerned about delays & missing the connection as I think they’re only one flight a day to Orlando!
