At least you didn't do what I did this year...

I was on holiday in Barbados in February and was surfing the web looking at flights for the following year, when I thought I spotted a bargain and quickly booked 4 flights for the following February half term.

The next day I was just casually glancing at the booking confirmation when I suddenly felt sick to see that my "bargain flights were the same days, but actually in January school term !

I then wasted a complete morning of my holiday trying to contact Thomas Cook to rectify the situation, whilst in complete stress meltdown mode... end result -... transferred to not so bargain flights on the right dates, and a £50 mobile phone charge.

I have to say though, Thomas Cook were pretty good at handling my mistake.
But also worth noting, as its never really advertised, many EU ( & also most US) airlines give a 24 hour "cooling off" period after booking, due to EU regulations.

I've booked loads of flights over the years, without a hitch, but just shows that anyone can make the most basic of errors - especially if you don't check the small print ... or even big print in my case !

I did that at the po too last yr but got it changed back within 5 mins. They are being rather sneaky about it as I didn't see anywhere on their website where it tells you that this is for £500 up. I went round the corner to Thomas Cook and got the online rate there.

Mmmm the first year we went, I'd ordered our Disney tickets online and then excitedly turned up to Universal to be told "eh sorry Madam but Disney are our competition we can't accept your tickets"! 😂😂😂 I did hear some sniggering! x
