Hi There
We love the Cheyenne...For us it is our top spot with the Disneyland hotel...it is so well themed Its not fancy , but its not meant to be , you are in the wild west , to us it feels like you are still in Frontier land Not stayed in the new rooms they had just started them the last time we were there |

Just got back last weekend from the Cheyenne, although we weren't in the new rooms. Have stayed in SL in the past too and although I loved it I wouldn't pay extra for it. We love the theming of the Cheyenne, it's much better than any of the other hotels. I actually found the bed quite comfortable but that may have something to do with all the walking we did. Breakfast is fine if you get in there early ie 7am and the food is the same as SL (unless you stay in a Golden Forest room). We have stayed at the Cheyenne four times now and have never had any problems with school parties - just ask for a preferred room as I think that's what we always have.

We've stayed at the Cheyenne a few times but not recently but all that is set to change in a few weeks <3 we're staying in a texas room sooooo looking forward to it. We've always liked the themeing here and feel more at home in this hotel although we do enjoy sequoia lodge especially at Christmas.

We'll be there tomorrow , I didn't book a new room but we have stayed at the Cheyenne two previous times, the last time was nine years ago.

We've stayed at both and the Cheyenne is fine. Unless things have changed, the breakfast at SL is slightly better in that the fruit is fresh not tinned, and there is slightly more variety. Also you are shown to your seat instead of having to find one yourself with a full tray of food - but that's never a problem for us as we are always there before 7am to beat the crowds.
