Mobile Don’t know what’s a decent price

There’s 5 of us going next August. 2 adults, and 3 kids 15, 9 and 8.
Looking at flying premium this time and wanting to book flights only.
Uk to Orlando for 10 days then on to New York for 5 days before flying back to uk.

Do you think I’d be able to get this for less than £6k?

Why don't you price it up and see?

I have put your route into Expedia for first two weeks of August, it came out with £1500 per person with Virgin direct. It was a bit cheaper if the LGW - MCO was indirect, about £1300 per person.

I'm currently pricing a trip involving two places and have a page open on Skyscanner and the ITA Matrix. Prices change throughout the day and I just check a few times daily. Play around with dates and consider nearby airports.

You may find it cheaper to get a return - into Orlando and out of New York. You will find cheap one way flights from Orlando to New York. I find AA good for one way prices on short haul flights. You need to consider hold luggage but we took three hold suitcases in August for 5 of us.

I personally would not pay for premium seats for my kids unless they were a bargain and even then only on the return leg when you're more likely to sleep. Kids just need a good selection of movies on the screen in front of them!
