Regular Orlando visitors- do you ever regret not going elsewhere? Or do people judge you?
We have been to Orlando twice in the last 2 years, and are thinking of possibly going back again in February.
When we told family and friends, most of them have said we’re crazy to go back again when “there’s a whole world to explore”. So I thought i’d just look out of interest at California, but it just doesn’t seem to compare for us! Disney and Universal are much smaller, and we’re not fussed about Hollywood etc. Orlando is just all me and my hubby want to do! Are we crazy to keep wanting to go back to Orlando rather than other places like California etc? And do people ever judge you if you keep going back, and what do you say back to them? X

Apart from all our trips to Europe we did venture out to Los Angeles to stay with my sister in law for three weeks and done Vegas and Mexico plus Disneyland but this year will be our 8th Disney World vacation ( we go every two years) and we just love the atmosphere especially staying onsite..

Your definitely not crazy for going back. There is just something magical about the place that keeps drawing you back. The first time we went was in 2011 and we have been every year bar one since then. The year we didn't go we really regretted it. We go again next Thursday and have already started working on when to go next year.

We're probably not the typical Dibbers but we are going back for around the 35th time in November. I think we like it a bit.
We haven't been to any parks since 2010 though and although we have loved the 47 square miles of WDW we also love to explore the other 65,700 square miles of Florida. Mick

I absolutely love DW, and Easter will be our fourth visit. BUT, we do like to visit other places too and I do want to experience other countries and cultures.
I quite like to do Florida every other year, then somewhere else the years in between. This summer just gone we did a 2.5 week California road trip and of course went to Disneyland! If you have never been and are thinking of going i would highly recommend. I just found it so much more authentic and less commercial than DW. Something so nostalgic and magical about it. DCA is the best park i have ever been to and we've been to Paris and Hong Kong too. So if you're thinking of trying somewhere new, do it! |

Not sure you're going to get the most objective views on here.
It's like trying a new dish from a takeaway; it could be the best thing you've ever had or you might end up wishing you'd ordered the usual. |
