Mobile Sky scanner?

So looking at sky scanner for flights and can get some virgin flights in my price range. Obviously it take me to a third party booking but how do I know if I can trust the third party or not.

I tried virgin direct and they’re either way more expensive or they say there’s no flights left.

2nd question. Is 90 mins too short of a connection for jfk? I’m going to assume it was impossible. I’d be flying premium so would be off the plane pretty quick but I’m thinking it’s still not long enough.

Thoughts?

It may help others to answer who’ve used them before if you said who the 3rd party site you’re directed to is?

We had a 90 min connecting flight 3 years ago at Heathrow, never again ... it was a big worry as to whether we’d make it. It only takes a delay on your first flight to make things tight.

Whoever the third party is, look them up in Trustpilot:

uk.trustpilot/

It'll give you an idea of how well they're known and what others think of them

Thank you.

Can’t remember what the name was. Something like Carlton.
Would need to search again to find it

Firstly 90 mins is too short to change flights, anything could hold you up including slower passengers getting out of premium . As others have said also check the third party reviews .Two hours would be my personal advice for changing flights comfortably in the US.

I have used I think it’s Carlton travel they are all what used to called bucket shops sell cheap flights generally no problems but don’t expect any service from them this is why they are cheap.

Hiya JG - also check out LastMinute and Expedia, our VA fights were far cheaper with Expedia. Bear in mind Expedia and LM give cash back via Quidco or Top Cash Back, worth checking and worth joining, if you've family/friends who're members they'll get a referral for recommending you.

If you opt for the 90 min connection check the airline's website for JFK to MCO flights later in the day. We had a 90 min layover in Atl, reduced further as Man ground crew struggled to get a specialist wheelchair in the hold. We were last to board our Delta flight to Ft Myers with 5 mins to spare, they'd been given an earlier take off so doors were closed immediately behind us, aircraft was taxi-ing afore we'd stowed hand luggage and belted in.

I think it would be silly to try a 90 minute connection through jfk tbh.
There’s a cheaper indirect which goes through Atlanta and that’s over 2 hours so might go for that.

Looking to book tomorrow when I get paid so hopefully can find something in my price range lol

JG, we prefer via Atl for RSW, c90 mins flight time vs c180 mins from JFK.

Good luck find flights within your price range, if it covers your dates I believe VA extended their sale
