Those of you that have had the flu jab?
Did you feel sick after your had it?
Weve never had them but I've booked for me and o/h to have them in Boots when/if we get back to the uk in September. My mum has them and has never felt rough my stepdad however insists that he does and thinks hes at deaths door... If you felt ill what symptoms did you have? O/h isnt sure he wants it because of that reason.

One year - about 3 years ago I had a small red patch on my arm and it hurt for the day after I had it.
The other years I have not had any issues at all. |

I felt really ill with a heavy cold/bad chest type illness the last time that I had the flu jab. This was a couple of years ago and we got it free through work.
Edited to add: Obviously, I can’t confirm that it was the flu jab that made me feel ill. Might have been coincidence. |

Somebody will always give a story of having the jab and then having the worst dose of flu known to Man.
The truth of the matter is the jab cannot give anybody flu and what has happened is that person was in the early stages of developing it anyhow. The jab is money in the bank

The first year I had it I felt a little unwell, flu like symptoms but after having the flu once and was so ill along with DH, I can easily put up with feeling a little off but as I said it was only the first year I had it.

When I've had it the last 2 years all I get is a dull ache in the arm like someone's punched my arm .
Don't even feel the jab being administered. |

I get the Flu jab from my work. Only after last one I had a slight warm and slighly ache in arm for about a week. it never bothered me or restrict me from my duties.

I think the poll needs more choices. I have had an achy arm for a couple of days but that is it. I don't really know how to answer TBH. My mother has had an allergic reaction so doesn't have the vaccination anymore as she is never ill but allergic to everything. It wasn't a dangerous anaphylactic reaction.
My children have also only ever had a minor ache.
