New York or NewPort Bay
Can any one recommend what the best hotel to stay on site is? Apart from the main Disney hotel - it's out of budget!
Thanks

We have stayed in all except the disneyland hotel and the Sequioa was our favourite - the one big plus for the New York is the hot Breakfast

Newport Bay is now 4* and has a hot breakfast. It has just been refurbished and is apparently lovely. I think Santa Fe and Cheyenne are more if you are going to be out all day. Functional, but they are 2* with no pool. Sequoia lodge is somewhere in between - people really like it particularly in the winter with the fire!

We have stayed in New York, new port bay, Disneyland and sequoia, Disneyland is very special but sequoia is our favourite.

It depends on who is in your travelling party?

Depending on whether your son is mobile and wanting to be independent, or happy in a stroller would influence my decision. The NPC is a long hike round the lake which with a slow-moving toddler would probably take 20-30mins whereas the HNY is quicker...
(Experience speaking)... I'm a big Fan of both hotels, but have you considered the Cheyenne? Your DS might like the cowboy theme?

We've stayed in all bar Newport bay and like them all. I think the one that we feel most at home in is Sequoia Lodge. Would love to stay at Newport Bay though especially as it's just had a refurb.

Sequoia Lodge is the only hotel I've stayed at and I love it, wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's lovely and cosy in the winter and it's great walking around the beautiful grounds during the warmer weather - I went late September a couple of years ago and it was lovely.
