Electric Guitar shop?

Hi, My DS wants to buy an electric guitar in Florida because of the great exchange rate. Can anyone recommend a shop in Orlando? Also would it be cheaper to ship it home or pay excess baggage? We're flying Virgin.

Thanks very much.

I always pop in to George's Guitar Store just off I-Drive - it's just opposite Wet'n'Wild - they're very friendly in there.

Mandy (Angel) has info about bringing guitars back - send her a PM

Our son has bought a bass and a 6 string from Goerge's Guitar Store which Steve has mentioned above.

He bought them (2 separate trips) when the exchange rate was around $1.62 and they were still a lot cheaper tan buying them in the UK so now will be a great time to buy.

We were flying Airtours (I think - it was definately a charter anyway) and they didn't charge him anything so I'm assuming it did not take us over the baggage allowance. He did buy a good hard case to bring it home in.

That's great thanks for your replies, Georges Guitar store sounds just the thing. I'll try the forum search too.
