Taxi's & Alcohol in Barcelona

We are off on the Med cruise on 26/7 and decided it is now time to start planning - yippee!

I have 2 questions - how much is a taxi from the airport at Barcelona to the centre (possibly looking at Hotel Jazz).

Also - where is Barcelona can you buy wine to take on board to have in our cabin?

1.roughly �30/35 .
2. Carrefour...or just about any supermarket .

There are lots of small supermarkets dotted about that all sell wine at decent prices. Remember it has to be carried on in hand luggage, so don't buy so many bottles that you can't lift your bag

. We just booked our hotel last week and was wondering about taxis? There will be 10 of us so wondered if we could book a bus? Anyone else done this?

Thanks for the replies.

I've now booked the Hotel Jazz and had a look around using google street view and seen there is a Carrefour nearby so that solves that problem!

I'm also looking for a hotel near either Olympic Marina or Port Vell for after the cruise - any suggestions?

Do check that your cruise allows you to take your own booze - some will ''confiscate '' it and return it to you at the cruise end

We used Suntransfers for our last cruise. They do airport to hotel and cruise port to airport, but not hotel to cruise port. Last time there were 9 of us and it was 65 Euros per journey.
