We’ve done it twice now.
First time we did Vegas for 4 days then flew to Orlando for 8 days. Second time we flew to Orlando for 8 days, 3 days in LA then 4 days in Vegas. We’re both in love with both places and now it feels weird doing one without the other! Both times we booked with Charter Travel for ease. We’ve never done the Grand Canyon though (not something we are interested in ) but it was a good length of time for us. |

If DH has expressed interest in LV, I would be inclined to build a trip around that. A bit longer in LV itself and perhaps a trip to Grand Canyon, I would maybe combine it with Disneyland in CA if you need a Disney fix, rather than Orlando.

In 2016 we did Vegas for 5 nights, flew to Orlando with Southwest for circa £100 each (2 checked bags free) then had a night in the Rosen Inn @ Pointe and onto a Caribbean cruise.
We didn’t have long enough in Vegas as we got married and so did our friends so we lost almost two days (well, two half days and evenings) with weddings . Can’t wait to do it again! A word of warning, if you book a package they’ll use flights with someone like AA/Delta which were coming in at £400 each for indirect We booked Thomas Cook flights as they were the only direct flights from Glasgow. I’d happily book all the elements DIY. |
