Hi Joa I also book direct with TA or onboard, But someone asked what onboard credit do you get if you book direct with Disney?
Is there somewhere on Disney's site that tells you how much onboard credit you will receive for your booking

For on board bookings:
Cruises of 7 nights or longer receive a 10% discount, a 10% deposit and a $200 OBC
Cruises less than 7 nights receive a 10% discount, 20% deposit and a $100 OBC

Thanks Joa for the info. Just one more question a work mate is thinking of taking his family on a first cruise and was asking how much onboard credit they would receive from Disney? Would that be $200 for a 7 night cruise or is the amount different for booking direct?

You only get the DCL onboard credit (OBC) if you book the cruise whilst onboard already. New bookings would not receive anything from DCL.
Some US TAs give OBC but this comes out of their own commission, so can vary. It shouldn't be the first reason for booking with a US TA .. that should be the booking conditions and their knowledge.
