DCL - 25% off selected September Caribbean and Bahamas cruises

Just thought I'd post in case anyone hadn't seen this offer.

DCL are offering 25% of selected September 2018 Caribbean and Bahamas cruises for EEA residents. Details are on the 'special offers' page on their website. It can be applied to existing bookings as well.

I phoned DCL last night to apply this to the cruise we have booked. I was on the phone a long time and it was a little more complicated as we had originally booked with a placeholder reservation. I wanted to remove the placeholder discount from the booking and get the 25% off instead. We ended up cancelling the reservation and re-booking completely (as this seemed to be simplest way in the end). This meant we lost the room we had (a 7A) as it wasn't re-released when we cancelled. However, we've now gone for a 5B for less than we were paying for the 7A! Saved us around £130 (factoring in loss of onboard credit) on the price we had originally. That means more spends for the cruise! A few people in our cruise FB group have applied this discount. Someone saved over £800!

Im always amazed how there isnt more DCL advertsing in the UK. We met a UK crew member and he was surprised to hear a britsh accent, started to ask us what made us come on the cruise and where we heard about it.

Thank you so much to the OP for posting this! We have just booked a Western Caribbean cruise for September and if it wasn't for this post I wouldn't have known about this discount!
