Booking Port Excursions
Does anyone have experience of availability for booking port excursions at 75 days?
We are first time cruisers doing a 4 night Bahamian cruise at the end of September. DD & DS want to do the scuba diving activity in Nassau. I was wondering what the chances are of them being able to do this. I know we could probably book this independently but don't really want to take the chance of the ship sailing without them if they got held up

We did the three day cruise and they were still selling excursions on board so I think you should be fine.

You'll have no problem booking excursions. They are pretty expensive so many seasoned cruisers DIY...the whole 'quick book ASAP...get up a 5am' malarkey is hype. We have NEVER had any problems booking excursions ( or Palo come to that ) and we have never bought into the necessity to set an alarm to do it! With the possible exception of the cabanas on castaway...which are just too rich for our blood anyway, I don't know anyone who has genuinely had a problem!

Do you know how many places are available on the scuba tour? Some tours have a low maximum number and do sell out. The tours available on the day tend to be the large bus, island type tours.
If it's something you really want, book it ASAP. |
