That's right, 1ts credit and its 3 courses.

We had a lovely lunch there last year and have booked it again for this year.

Yes, it's 1 TS credit and 3 courses at Mama Melrose. You get to pick anything you want for the starter and main, but dessert is brought out as a sampling platter to share, so no choice there. When your server asks if you're on the dining plan, just mention that you've booked the Fantasmic Package. Our server hadn't checked beforehand so wasn't aware, but went and checked and got our tickets for the VIP seating area.

Also, make sure you book the Fantasmic dinner package and don't just make a normal restaurant reservation. You can book it here:

We've not had any success with this in the past couple of years as I think they're clamping down on it. If we have any left over we normally get something to take to eat at the airport - Earl of Sandwich is good for that

Anyone have any experience of takeaways/taking DDP food to other parks?
I've found that all the resorts we've stayed at do sandwiches and rolls of some description. However, the 'take out' packaging is normally a box which isn't very practical. Earl of Sandwich is the best for this as they wrap their rolls up properly so they're much easier to take out to other parks etc. If anyone is thinking of doing this but using somewhere else, then maybe pack a roll of cling flim!

Thought it might also help to post the Disney Dining plan leaflets which show everywhere you can use the plans:

Has anyone been to Tusker House lately? We have an ADR in August and I'm unsure of the pricing, as most sites only quote a price range

There are also a few places that do a QS pizza meal deal, so for 2 qs credits you get a large whole pizza, 2 desserts and 2 drinks (ask for large fountain drinks as these are included in the QSDP, but you get medium as standard). This can easily feed 3/4 people (depending on how hungry you are!) and a good way to save some QS credits:

I may be wrong, but I believe that if the resort offers a large/family pizza on the menu, then you can get this deal:
Boardwalk Pizza Window
All Star resort food courts
Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter
Caribbean Beach
Art of Animation
Pop Century
Possibly Trails End dinner take out window

Please add on any other places you know that offers this

They used to do this years ago when you could also use a TS credit for a CS meal however it no longer seems to be the case. If we think we'll have CS credits left we start using them for breakfast - normally we'd just have muffin or bagel or something.
It's probably harder on the QSDP to use up credits as you can't double up for signature places like you can on standard DDP. We seldom have to worry about left over credits on DDP as we usually have at least one signature. Last year we had 3 but it worked out with our offsite days.
I know that some people on QSDP (we've never had it) will have a QS meal for breakfast lunch and dinner by sharing meals so effectively you pool the credits and use them throughout the day rather than keep them for just lunch and dinner. By doing that you cover the eventuality of offsite days but still use your credits.
