Has anyone stayed here? What did you think? I understand that they have shuttles to Disney - but am wondering about the times? We would like to use the shuttles for Disney Springs in the evening - is this possible or would Uber be better?
Any feedback on the rooms would be great - we have a standard resort view room booked as the upgrade to pool/lake view was £500! |

Been twice hopefully going back next year. Been upgraded both times for free . However can’t comment on shuttles as I too has a car . Big place though and most likely get lost once or twice but I highly recommend

We've stayed there a few times - staff & amenities are excellent.
We booked through Travelbag & got comped parking & an upgrade to a 3 bedroom suite (for 4 of us!) - it was massive, loads of room. One thing I like is your car is parked in a central multi-storey car park at the end of each of the wing's corridors, so a) your car stays cool & b) when you come back from the parks/mall etc you don't have far to carry your stuff. We drove to HS from it last year & it took less than 10 mins. |

I haven’t stayed there but I remember reading in a trip report that the free shuttle only goes to the transportation & ticket centre at magic kingdom & then you need to make your way to the other parks from there. It took the person 2 hours to get to animal kingdom. It may have changed but I would check.

I would definitely reccomend a car if you can drive. There are plenty of restaurants near by but absolutely nothing within walking distance. Unless you are happy to rely on UBERs 100%, it could be a real issue. It isn't too far from Animal Kingdom but going to TTC first would be a huge waste of time. It is also quite away from Disney Springs and again a detour via TTC would be miles out of the way. The resort itself does look fantastic though.

We stayed recently, it’s absolutely beautiful and we loved it.
- we didn’t have a car and used Uber or Lyft to get to restaurants, never had an issue We didn’t use the bus but it left around 9am and yes it only went to magic kingdom I think. There was one drop off, one return. It had to be booked the night before. - view is totally not worth paying extra for in my opinion. All the rooms have a nice view as it’s quite isolated. |
