This year we are staying in a villa.

Which do you prefer? They're both really nice!
having done both, we settle on a Disney hotel every time now! I just love the atmosphere and the ease of everything. We tend to rent a car for a couple of days to go to universal and some shopping but until we get over our Disney Parks obsession (I hope never!) I think we will always stay on site

As a solo non-driving visitor it's a Disney hotel for me. Magical Express to and from the airport. Disney transportation while I'm there. Uber for Discovery Cove.

We've done both ways and my signature says it all - nothing beats the magic of being on site - and as long as free dining continues, it will always be our first choice. So many advantages of staying at a disney resort and if you have children (young or old - ours are now 23 and 19!) then they will never forget saying on site!
