Ok thank you all, I'm sold. We did love POFQ but OKW definitely comes out better here.
I will keep looking to see what prices are like when our dates are released and if the prices are comparative, I will swap from POFQ to OKW. The prices were the same for May 2020, but I will have to see if they are still roughly the same for August 2020. Wish I could change it now!

I've just changed my booking at POFQ to OKW - we were going 10th May, but my Universal Annual Pass expires on 15th May, making it not usable. So I've brought the dates forward to 24th April. POFQ was £1160 for 5 nights and OKW is £1285 for 5 nights. So happy with the price, as it means it wasn't much more than upgrading to DDP. I think having a balcony and kitchen makes it much better.

For the resort POFQ. I didn’t like OKW at all. Just big and sprawly and a terrible food court.
However the one and two bed villas and so much better accommodation and Olivia’s is a great restaurant. So. I think it depends for me what matters most. Accommodation or overall resort experience.

OKW - without a shadow of doubt. It is a fantastic resort, Deluxe Villas as apposed to POFQ which is a moderate.

Hi, can you remember what block you stayed in? I'm a bit worried about the time to walk around OKW to food court and bus stop.
Thank you.

We did 5 adults in a 1 bed villa at OKW without any hitches. We all loved it, so much space! We stayed in block 35 at Turtle Pond opposite the bus stop. It was a 10 mins walk to and from Hospitality House. Loved the small swimming pool with food hut too.

I think we were on Millers Road at the far end. I want to say block 21. Excellent one bed villa and convenient parking outside. Near enough to a bus stop. My issue is we could have been anywhere. I like to stay inside the Disney bubble and frankly it didn’t feel like Disney at all to me. I think you’ll find I’m in the minority though. But OKW is not for me.

OKW isn’t really designed for people nipping to the shop or quick service. None of the rooms we stayed in were close enough for that. You can walk to Hospitality House but it could take 15 minutes from the furthest away block depending how fast you walk. But there are bus stops scattered around the resort so you don’t need to worry about being close to one.
Oh and it’s not a food court, it’s a quick service window. If that’s a big deal for you then OKW is not the resort for you. |

OKW is gonna come out ahead here as a two bed villa is always going to be better then two rooms. If it were a standard room v a studio the two resorts may be tied more closely.
We’ve stayed at both, with children. We picked them deliberately as the theming of both was incredibly calm and not in your face over stimulating. I’d return to both any day of the week. The only reason POFQ comes out ahead for us on visits it’s OKW has been too expensive.
