First Look at Hagrid in Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure

Universal Orlando reveals a first look at Hagrid from Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure which opens 13 June 2019 at Universal's Islands of Adventure.

In The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Hagrid himself will be brought to life as the most advanced and life-like animated figure we’ve ever created. Here’s your first glimpse at the half giant:

On this immersive coaster experience, you will join Hagrid on a thrilling journey into the Forbidden Forest. Along the way, he’ll introduce you to some of the wizarding world’s rarest magical creatures. And for the first time ever in our parks, you’ll get the chance to come face-to-face with Hagrid, who is not only the Hogwarts gamekeeper and Care of Magical Creatures professor, but also one of Harry Potter’s most loving and loyal friends.

Hi Stu. Has Universal given any indication whether this will be included with the FOLP, now that the other HP rides are included? My next trip won't be until June 2020 so I am hoping so after a year!

They could have shown a bit more movement... he's very still in this clip. Still, I'll ride this in September next year yay!

Wow! So excited! By the time we go; it’ll be 6 years since last visit - didn’t get on Gringotts; it had only been open a few months and kept glitching!

Wow, looks amazing!

As above, I am assuming that it won't be included in FOLP initially, but would be super excited if it was!

I assume we don't know the height restriction for this yet?

I'm trying to work out whether it's more of a family coaster (think BTMR) or more of a thrilling coaster (think Hulk) and I guess the height restriction might indicate which other attractions it's similar to, thrill-wise. I'm hoping it's no more thrilling than Gringotts personally.

Yeah, it's not really in the same league as Disney animatronics, is it? It's a bit like something you'd see at a local funfair.

Thanks Stu!

Oh boy, that means it has the same height restriction as Rock'n'Rollercoaster, Mummy, and Forbidden Journey. I had mistakenly thought this would be a less-thrilling family coaster with a 40" or 42" restriction. Hmm...

(I also notice the height restrictions for the new Star Wars rides are on the page too. Those limits are more my thing. )
