Captain Jacks

Has anyone eaten at Captain Jacks ... is it good?

I like the idea of eating with the ride going by, but not sure about the menu!

The scene is really nice but we never thought much of the Plus Menu meal. Kids never liked it but that’s personal taste. If we went there again we’d use our meal voucher for the a la carte menu and just have a main course.

Definitely worth going there for the experience though if not been before.

The theming and atmosphere is nice. Food is ok but a bit different so check the menus first. The service was really slow when we went so were in there a lot longer than expected.

We loved it when we went and they went above and beyond to make sure there was no shellfish in the fish main for myself.

We found service at all the table service restaurants to be slower than WDW but nothing unexpected in Europe.

We found the service good. The menu is a bit unusual as mentioned. If you have fussy eaters you may struggle.

We went there in December for our anniversary meal. Thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm not a massive sea food lover so I opted for everything without seafood. The steak main did have shrimp things but my partner had those. We had a set menu and put our meal plan towards it (wasn't covered under our meal plan) and it was an extra €70.18 for the two of us. It is rather expensive however we did enjoy the food (larger portions) and we even met captain jack (he randomly appears at times and we struck lucky!). The atmosphere was good and certainly something different to what we've ever done before.

May struggle with fussy eaters!

My starter (hummus):

My main (steak type thing):

My dessert (chocolate tart and ice cream):

I have always wanted to eat here but the food really puts me off, i'm not a very adventurous eater! I'm determined to go one day though

Capt Jacks is one of our must do restaurants. The theme and the food are great.
You used to be able to meet Jack around 12 noon.
