Bringing a light saber and droid back to the uk
Hello everyone,
Me and my partner have built a light saber and droid in galaxy's edge, we are flying back Tuesday with British airways. I presume we are allowed to take these on as hand luggage? Any help and advise would be greatly appreciated Thank you |

Morning
Not sure about BA but we brought them back a couple of weeks ago with Virgin and carried them as hand luggage. No issues at all, light sabre was placed in wardrobe by crew as too long for the overhead locker. Julie

Excited about Disney
|
We brought a light sabre back on BA as carry on with no problem. They didn't count it as an object and on both flights (we connected through Dulles) the flight crew knew exactly where it would fit.
I will caution you that it is surprisingly easy to forget you have it though, so we ended up counting it as a member of the family to make sure we didn't leave it anywhere! We didn't have a droid on the same trip but have packed our droid as checked luggage in the suitcase with no trouble. They run on normal batteries rather than lithium so they are fine to check if it makes it easier. But small enough to have as a carry on if you prefer. |
